SUMMARY:33rd Annual Meeting of the German Sleep Research and Sleep Medicine Society (DGSM)
DESCRIPTION:This insight stems from the ideas of Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz. The motto of the 33rd Annual Conference of the German Society for Sleep Research and Sleep Medicine (DGSM)\, which will take place from November 27-29\, 2025\, at the Hannover Congress Center\, is based on the German polymath's theory of petites perceptions ("small\, imperceptible perceptions"). In this theory\, Leibniz concludes that what  is worth noticing is composed of parts that are not: mental activity does not only occur consciously. Neuroscience uses imaging to prove that a kind of cognitive unconscious accompanies the conscious activity of the brain at every moment. Thus\, small perceptions sometimes trigger a major ripple effect . This motto is the title of the DGSM annual conference in Hanover. Learn More >
