The Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the Morehouse School of Medicine seeks qualified applicants for a full-time Assistant/Associate Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology position. The successful candidate is expected to develop a research program in their specific area of specialty, teach Pharmacology in the medical school curriculum, mentor medical students in research activities. Additional duties may include course administration and contributions to institutional/departmental governance and service. Successful candidates will hold a terminal doctoral degree (PhD, MD, and MD/PhD) and should have a strong history of teaching in a medical school as well as demonstrate the potential to obtain extramural funding. Applications for the ranks of Assistant or Associate Professor will be considered.
