Postdoctoral Researcher Fellow – Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital

Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher Fellow to join the Medical Biodynamics Center at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. Clinical translational studies include RCTs, prospective cohorts, and large-database analysis focused on the intersection of sleep/circadian and aging research.

  • Modified cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) interventions for the SCOPE Trial in cardiac surgery (funded by PCORI) and the SLEEP-BOOST trial in orthopedic patients (NIA).
  • Biomarker research of dementia risk and disease monitoring.


  • Project Lead for the SCOPE and SLEEP-BOOST trials
  • Drive independent research direction while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of researchers
  • Analyze data and interpret results
  • Present and publish findings
  • Mentor graduate and undergraduate students
  • Assist with grant writing


  • PhD, MD, MD/PhD with strong writing skills and a sound track record of publications
  • Familiarity with human study protocols
  • Statistical knowledge

Preferred Research Background and Skills:

  • Behavioral health and/or CBT experience is strongly preferred (e.g., clinical/health psychology PhDs) but not mandatory
  • Clinical trials, sleep/circadian health, or dementia human research experience
  • Programming skills, signal processing, machine learning, and/or deep learning are highly welcome


  • State-of-the-art clinical research facilities
  • Strong mentorship and history of successful postdocs via professional development and multidisciplinary training
