Postdoctoral Researcher Fellow – Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital
Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher Fellow to join the Medical Biodynamics Center at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. Clinical translational studies include RCTs, prospective cohorts, and large-database analysis focused on the intersection of sleep/circadian and aging research.
- Modified cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) interventions for the SCOPE Trial in cardiac surgery (funded by PCORI) and the SLEEP-BOOST trial in orthopedic patients (NIA).
- Biomarker research of dementia risk and disease monitoring.
Responsibilities:
- Project Lead for the SCOPE and SLEEP-BOOST trials
- Drive independent research direction while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of researchers
- Analyze data and interpret results
- Present and publish findings
- Mentor graduate and undergraduate students
- Assist with grant writing
Qualifications:
- PhD, MD, MD/PhD with strong writing skills and a sound track record of publications
- Familiarity with human study protocols
- Statistical knowledge
Preferred Research Background and Skills:
- Behavioral health and/or CBT experience is strongly preferred (e.g., clinical/health psychology PhDs) but not mandatory
- Clinical trials, sleep/circadian health, or dementia human research experience
- Programming skills, signal processing, machine learning, and/or deep learning are highly welcome
