For everyone’s health and safety, please know that the SRBR Leadership, 2022 Program Committee and Executive Office are committed to planning a meeting with guidance from the World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We are dedicated to providing a COVID-safe environment for everyone to meet in 2022!

COVID-19 Code of Conduct & Conference Updates
*Updated March 1, 2022
In pursuit of a safe and healthy meeting for all members of the SRBR community, SRBR has published a COVID-19 Code of Conduct (SRBR Health & Safety Guide) outlining all safety and health policies for the upcoming 2022 Biennial Meeting. In accordance with the agreements signed at the time of registration, all attendees must abide by the policies set in place at the meeting. SRBR reserves the right to update, modify, or remove any or all of these policies at any point in time. Should alterations be made, all registered SRBR attendees will be notified via email.

Mandatory Vaccination Policy and Procedures

SRBR is committed to maximizing the safety of all in-person attendees while still providing the best forum for the latest research in scientific sessions, posters, and networking opportunities. Given the recent surge of the COVID-19 Delta variant, SRBR is implementing a mandatory vaccine requirement for all in-person meeting attendees. Entrance to the Conference Center and all designated SRBR meeting spaces will also be limited to registered scientific meeting attendees and staff only. A decision will be made closer to the conference time regarding the attendance of guests accompanying conference participants at the opening reception and closing banquet.

At the time of registration, all registrants will be required to upload a photo of their COVID-19 vaccination card or passport. Those wishing to apply for a medical exemption authorized by their primary care provider may reach out to the SRBR Executive Office at info@srbr.org to request a medical exemption form.

During registration, attendees will also be asked to sign the SRBR Waiver and Release of Liability for Communicable Disease, acknowledging that they understand the risks involved with in-person meetings. Due to the evolving nature of COVID-19, SRBR will publish all final safety protocols (in the form of a COVID Code of Conduct) on March 1, 2022 to ensure that the most up-to-date guidance from the CDC is considered. Registrants will receive the COVID Code of Conduct via email and will need to attest that they will comply with these measures.

REGISTRATION CANCELLATION POLICY
SRBR understands that the protocols set forth in the COVID Code of Conduct may change your decision to attend SRBR 2022. If you wish to cancel an existing registration, please email the SRBR Executive Office for assistance.

Any attendees who register prior to March 1, 2022 and choose to decline attestation to the COVID Code of Conduct published on that date will be eligible for a full registration refund if requested in writing by March 15, 2022.   A $30.00 administrative fee will be applied for cancellations received between March 15, 2022 and April 1, 2022.  Refunds will not be granted after April 1, 2022.

We strongly recommend that all guests book their resort/villa accommodations under the SRBR Room Block at the Omni Amelia Island Resort.  Please make sure when you book the hotel that you follow the links from the conference registration site to avoid booking on other third-party websites.  If you wish to cancel your hotel reservations, it must be done prior to 12:00pm 5 days prior to arrival to avoid forfeiture of the deposit.  You will be responsible for contacting the hotel directly to cancel your reservation.
