Global Diversity Fellowships
The Global Diversity Fellowships aim to support the SRBR mission to serve the international science community. GD Fellowships provide travel funds for successful applicants from nations typically underrepresented at the SRBR meeting or those listed by the World Bank as low-to-middle income. The SRBR Travel and Trainee Awards Committee reviews applications from eligible individuals of all career stages. The application submission deadline was January 19, 2024.
Global Diversity Awardees will also be eligible for the SRBR Trainee Travel Awards (Research Merit and Excellence Awards.
- Not limited to trainees
- Work in laboratories located in economically disadvantaged countries, as defined by the World Bank as low to middle income.
- Individuals who are from low or middle income countries but are currently working in the US or European Countries are NOT eligible.
- If the application is successful, the awardee will receive complimentary registration for the conference.
- Performing research in chronobiology
- Attend the SRBR meeting. Hotel accommodations are not included with the award. Trainees may make hotel reservations in the Sheraton San Juan Resort hotel room block, or may opt to stay an alternate accommodation. If the trainee elects to stay in the SRBR room block, the name of trainee has to be on the hotel reservation.
Award submissions are closed for the 2024 meeting.
